Yoga and Ayurveda have been the age-old traditional practices in alternative healing and wellness systems that India could be very proud of, felt His Excellency Sugandh Rajaram, High Commissioner of India to Ghana while inaugurating Ayush Ghana Ayurveda Medical Centre,(An Authentic Indian System of Medicine) Oshimpa Street, North Kaneshi, Accra, Ghana.
He also remarked, Humanity needs sustainable health systems. The concept of Body, Mind and Soul integration certainly matches with the definition of Health by the World Health Organisation WHO. And Indian Yoga just fits into the bill. It is indeed a giant step ahead by Dr Poornima Palaksha, CEO and Principal Consultant and her team to serve the medical needs of the local community in Ghana. Well, the spectacular success story of Ayush Ghana Ayurveda Medical Centre, Ghana in West Africa is a testimony not only to the emerging popularity of Ayurveda but also its benefits.
The Bengaluru-born husband-wife duo of the Ayush Ghana Ayurveda Medical Centre, Palaksha Swamy and Mrs Dr Poornima Palaksha have been the flag bearer of the new order, a new vision of Ayurveda in West Africa, Ghana in particular, over the couple of years.
