Manila, 18 Nov (HS):- At least six people died in the earthquake that struck South Philippines on Friday. The intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 6.9. The local Disaster Management officials confirmed the death of six people.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences reported the earthquake in Mindanao island, 60 Km deep. Three people died in south Cotabato province, two in Sarangani. A 78-year-old person was crushed in a landslide in the Davao Occidental region. Rescue operations are in progress.
