Bulandshahr, 18 Oct (HS): According to authorities, a 15-year-old girl was reportedly molested here, and a 45-year-old male was detained for it. Varun Kumar Singh, the Circle Officer (CO) of Khurja, stated on Wednesday, We have arrested one Mursalin for molesting a 15-year-old girl on Tuesday evening when she was returning home from her tuition classes. When our team attempted to arrest Mursalin today (Wednesday), he tried to flee and fell. As a result of it, he broke the bones in his wrist, Singh explained. According to him, the accused was transferred to a hospital before being taken to jail. Mursalin sexually groped the little girl in the street before departing on his motorcycle, according to the victim's grandfather's complaint.

Based on the allegations, police filed a FIR under relevant provisions of the IPC and the POCSO (Protection of Children From Sexual Offenses) Act. Mursalin was identified and tracked down using CCTV video from the event.
