Chapra, 26 September (H.S) Saran SP Santosh Kumar has suspended five policemen on the charge of hobnobbing with sand mafias. They were found extracting money from trucks illegallay carrying sand.

Suspended policemen are ASI Shambhu Singh, Havildar Rajendra Das and constables Pramod Kumar, Chhote Lal Mandal and Lakhan Chauhan. SP told that this team was found taking bribe from truck drivers carrying sand illegally under Doriganj police station. He said that SHO Doriganj has been served a show cause notice also in this regard.
