PRAYAGRAJ, September 14 (HS): Triveni Pushp in Prayagraj, a lovely tourist attraction on the banks of the Yamuna near Arail, is being transformed into a cultural and recreational activities centre in the region. The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has requested interested companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) for this project. “We want to make Triveni Pushp a hub for fostering cultural and recreational activities, agricultural, and river tourism-based activities, as well as offering space for a variety of religious, cultural, social, and public events all year,” said Arvind Chauhan, PDA vice-chairman.

The premises of Triveni Pushp would be rented out for ten years, according to an EOI published by the PDA, the agency will be picked by the department through a tender (subject to the annual extension based on achievement of performance level benchmark which will be decided during Tender process). Small, medium, and large-scale events and activities are all possible for the bidder. If everything goes according to plan, the property will be transformed into a "Mini-Indian village," complete with amusement and recreational zones, as well as food courts serving delectable snacks and theme-based temporary hotel setups.

“The site would host a variety of activities, including organising ‘Yoga Shivir' (camps), amusement zones, food courts, recreational zones, agri-tourism-based activities, river tourism-based activities, government, political, social, and corporate events and meetings, seminars and workshops for various stakeholders, religious gatherings, social gatherings and events, exhibitions and promotional events, and government, political, social, and corporate events and meetings, seminars and workshops for various stakeholders, religious gatherings, social gatherings and events, He stated that in addition to above, events like talk shows and performances, public gatherings, cultural events, theme-based temporary hotel setups can be held.

According to the PDA VC, this list of activities is not exhaustive and just serves as an example; applicants may submit additional activities. Former UP Vidhan Sabha Speaker and former governor of West Bengal Keshari Nath Tripathi's pet project was Triveni Pushp, and it was thanks to his efforts that a tower was built at Arail, Naini, in 2003. Triveni Pushp is a well-known tourist destination. It is encircled by 12 little lawns and has a superb tower architecture seen in the southeast direction from the junction of the Triveni Sangam. During the Kumbh Mela 2019, practically all national and international delegations, travellers, and pilgrims visited Triveni Pushp, a viewpoint and a major tourist destination.

There are also replicas of Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple, Badrinath Temple, Kedarnath Temple and other mythological characters. The venue's serene environment and good connectivity are expected to help it expand. A wonderful view of Sangam and the medieval era Akbar Fort can be seen from the top of the tower. On the premises of Triveni Pushp, there are additional models of important temples in Ayodhya, Badrinath, and Kedarnath, as well as a statue of Gautam Buddha.
