
Bhubaneswar, 08 September (H.S.): Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday called for greater efforts to promote literacy and digital literacy on the occasion of International Literacy Day.
In a social media post, Patnaik said learning is the foundation of knowledge, progress, dignity and empowerment, and emphasised its role in transforming individuals and societies.
He urged people to spread the “light of literacy”, including digital literacy, to ensure that every individual is empowered with knowledge, skills and wisdom.
