
Bhubaneswar, 08 September (H.S.): Odisha Law Minister Prithwiraj Harichandan on World Physiotherapy Day flagged off a road safety awareness walk organised jointly by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (Utkal Branch), IAP Women Cell and SOA University.
The Minister inaugurated the walk by lighting a ceremonial torch and flagging it off in front of Forest Park. He said road safety is not merely a set of rules but a collective responsibility linked to protecting every human life.
Harichandan urged people to follow traffic rules and create greater awareness among others to help build safer roads and a responsible society.
IAP Utkal Branch president and Head of the Department of Physiotherapy at SUM Hospital, Dr Sthitipragya Dalabehera, along with other physiotherapists and students, attended the programme.
