New Delhi, 08 September (H.S.): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on the occasion of International Literacy Day, underscored the importance of education and literacy, describing them as the most effective means of breaking the cycle of poverty, reducing unemployment and building a better future.

In a post on the social media platform X on Tuesday, Arvind Kejriwal said every child should have access to quality education irrespective of their economic background. He said education empowers children to compete, realise their potential and achieve success.

He said every child in the country should have an equal opportunity to receive quality education so that they can progress according to their abilities and build a better future for themselves.
