Sarati, 07 Sept (HS): The health of Manoj Jarange Patil deteriorated on the
tenth day of his indefinite hunger strike. He continued with the hunger strike
despite the State Government conceded all his demands and demanded time up to
September 11 to issue notifications to that effect. Jarange said that the
hunger strike will not be withdrawn till the issuance of notifications.
Since last two
days Jarange also refused to consume water and any other medical help,
including saline. Jarange launched his hunger strike on August 29 demanding
reservation for Maratha community and issuance of Kunbi caste certificate to
them. He alleged that the State Government is unnecessarily delaying the
issues.
Jarange also
alleged that some ministers held a meeting to plan suppress Maratha Community’s
ongoing agitation and defame CM Devendra Fadnavis and DCM Eknath Shinde.
He suspected
sudden attack on agitators who are meaning to march towards Mumbai.
