NEW DELHI, September 07 (H.S.): Domestic bullion markets witnessed a marginal downward trend in early trading on Monday, the first trading day of the week. Amid variations in prices, 24-carat gold was trading at levels ranging from Rs 1,54,790 to Rs 1,56,660 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country, except Chennai. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,41,890 to Rs 1,43,600 per 10 grams. Silver prices also showed a marginal weakness, with the precious metal trading at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,940 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,54,790 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,41,890 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad was recorded at Rs 1,54,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,41,940 per 10 grams.

In addition to these major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai was priced at Rs 1,56,660 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,43,600 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,790 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,41,890 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,54,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,41,940 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,940 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,54,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,41,940 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams.

As in other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a marginal decline in gold prices on Monday. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,790 per 10 grams. Likewise, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,41,890 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
