Lucknow, 06 Sept (HS): BJP

National General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Vinod Tawde met with

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Sunday. Tawde is on

a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. He was accompanied by BJP National Minister

and co-in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel. The two leaders

paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister at his official residence,

5-Kalidas Marg.

Focus on organization for 2027 elections: During the meeting, various issues

related to the state were discussed, as well as organizational matters. It is

believed that the meeting also focused on party preparations and strengthening

the organization in view of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Vinod Tawde was recently appointed in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh BJP. This

is his first visit to Lucknow since becoming the UP in-charge. He arrived in

Lucknow on September 5 for a two-day visit. During his visit, he held meetings

with party officials from the district to the state level.

In these meetings, Tawde took feedback on the organization's ground

situation and booth-level preparations. He also sought information from

officials and workers about upcoming party programs. Discussions focused on strengthening

the organization at the booth level, improving coordination among workers, and

preparing for the upcoming assembly elections.

The BJP's state in-charge also gave a clear message to party workers that

there was no need to crowd the streets to welcome him. He also urged them to

avoid blocking roads with posters and hoardings. Tawde's visit is being seen as

crucial in strengthening the BJP's organization ahead of the 2027 assembly

elections. His meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also considered

significant in this regard.

In a post on X, UP CM remarked, “Today, at the government residence in

Lucknow, a courtesy meeting was held with the Hon'ble National General

Secretary of @BJP4India, Rajya Sabha MP, and Uttar Pradesh State In-charge Shri

@TawdeVinodji, as well as the Hon'ble National Minister and Uttar Pradesh State

Co-in-charge Shri @JAGDISHPATELji.”
