
NEW DELHI, September 06 (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Chief Justices to eight High Courts across the country. The President has issued orders appointing Chief Justices for the Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Patna, Calcutta and Bombay High Courts.
President Murmu has appointed Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, the Acting Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
Justice Krishna Ram Mahapatra of the Orissa High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court. Justice Alpesh Yashwant Kogje of the Gujarat High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
Ashwini Kumar Mishra, the Acting Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, has been appointed Chief Justice of the same High Court.
Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati of the Rajasthan High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Justice V. Kameshwar Rao of the Delhi High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
Justice R.V. Ghuge of the Bombay High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court.
Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi of the Allahabad High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.
