Guwahati, 06 September (HS): A group of Meghalaya supporters allegedly disrupted the ongoing census enumeration at Noapara LP School in Lampi, Kamrup district, Assam.

The incident occurred while census officials were carrying out the enumeration exercise. Village headman Chankio Marak and Arthus Changmai, along with Meghalaya Police personnel, allegedly intervened and obstructed the process.

The situation was brought under control in the presence of Assam Police. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.-------------
