Lucknow, 05 Sept (HS): Vinod

Tawde, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party and in-charge

of Uttar Pradesh, arrived in Lucknow on Saturday. Party leaders, including BJP

State President Pankaj Chaudhary, State General Secretary of Organization

Dharampal Singh, State General Secretary Sanjay Rai, and State Headquarters

in-charge Govind Narayan Shukla, welcomed him at Chaudhary Charan Singh

International Airport. State President Pankaj Chaudhary welcomed him with a

bouquet of flowers. He then proceeded to the BJP State Headquarters on Vidhan

Sabha Marg.

Vinod Tawde has come to Lucknow for the first time since becoming the state

in-charge. Meanwhile, newly appointed BJP national minister and co-in-charge of

BJP Uttar Pradesh, Jagdish Patel, has been in Lucknow since Friday. The arrival

of both leaders in Lucknow is being linked to preparations for the assembly

elections. Sources indicate that both leaders will meet with state party

officials to review preparations for the upcoming campaign.
