05 Sept (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has often

complimented ISKCON founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada for his global

efforts to share the timeless knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita and Indian

culture. CM Yogi has officially acknowledged Srila Prabhupada's massive

influence in spreading Lord Krishna's message and the Bhakti tradition beyond

international borders.

Aligning with Srila Prabhupada's spiritual vision in Vrindavan, CM Yogi's

administration has largely concentrated on converting Mathura and Vrindavan

into world-class pilgrimage destinations, lately inaugurating projects like as

the Kanha Bhakti Stambh in Vrindavan.

Institutional Engagement: The Chief Minister has visited Bhaktivedanta Gurukul

and International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) institutions in Vrindavan

to assist the region's educational and spiritual infrastructure.

In a post on X, he mentioned, “On

the occasion of the jayanti of the great saint who spread the divine light of

Shri Krishna bhakti and the 'Hare Krishna' mahamantra to every corner of the

world, the founder of ISKCON, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

Prabhupada ji, countless obeisances. His life of austerity, which connected the

tradition of spirituality and devotion to global consciousness, will continue

to guide humanity toward the path of service and righteousness for ages to

come.”
