
New Delhi, 05 September (H.S.): Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi interacted with the teachers who received this year’s National Teachers’ Awards and said educators have a crucial role in shaping the future of the country. He urged teachers to prepare children in a manner that enables them to contribute to building a developed India by 2047.
Pralhad Joshi said students are the nation’s greatest asset. Therefore, their development should not remain confined to textbook knowledge alone; they must be nurtured into well-rounded individuals. He called upon teachers to help students develop knowledge, skills, self-confidence and strong values.
The Union Education Minister appreciated the contributions and experiences of the teachers honoured with the National Teachers’ Awards. He said the dedication, hard work and innovative approaches adopted by teachers play an important role in strengthening the country’s education system.
Union Ministers of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary and Dr Sukanta Majumdar were also present on the occasion.
