Sept (HS): Nineteen people secured jobs in the police force under 5 per cent sports

quote, by submitting fake documents. The shocking fraud was detected recently.

The candidates between 2016 and 2026 submitted fake documents relating to ‘Kurash’

an ancient form of wrestling, and ‘Dragon Boat’ and group event. The Crime

Branch of Police arrested President of Maharashtra Kurash Association Ankush

Vitthal Nagre (40) a resident of Ahilyanagar, from Chandigarh, and Secretary

Shivaji Salunkhe (46), resident of Fursungi. They were presented in the court

of law, which granted them police custody of eight days.

complaint against Parbhani District Coordinator Kalyan Balasaheb Murkute,

Dhrashiv District Coordinator Chandrapasha Lalasaheb Sheikh and other district

coordinators was filed at Shivajinagar Police Station.

Further inspection

relating to fake certificates and other documents was in progress.
