Mathura, 04 Sept (HS): State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

reached the world famous Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple on the auspicious

occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on Friday, the second day of his visit to

Braj. First of all, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the ritualistic

worship of Mother Cow (Gau-Pujan) in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi premises.

After the cow worship, the Chief Minister, with full rituals and faith, visited

Lala (child Krishna) seated in the main sanctum sanctorum and performed special

worship and received his blessings. This was his 20th visit to Shri Krishna

Janmabhoomi as the Chief Minister. On his arrival at the temple premises, the

officials of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan gave him a grand welcome and

felicitation.

The CM continued to admire the amazing beauty of the silver-decorated

sanctum sanctorum:

On this special and divine festival of Shri Krishna

Janmashtami, the walls of the main sanctum sanctorum of the Janmabhoomi were

decorated in a very supernatural manner by applying a layer of silver. Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath kept gazing with devotion for a long time at this

amazing splendor of the sanctum sanctorum decorated with silver and the

captivating form of Lala. After darshan-puja in the main sanctum sanctorum, the

Chief Minister also visited Yogmaya Temple, Keshavdev Temple and Bhagwat Bhawan

located in the premises and offered darshan-puja and performed puja as per the

rituals. He wished for happiness, peace and prosperity of the country and the

state.

Flowers showered on devotees: Accepting the greetings of

thousands of devotees present at the Janmabhoomi premises on the auspicious

occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showered

flowers on them and extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the

countrymen on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The Chief Minister reached among the

artists from Ujjain who were giving a captivating cultural performance at the

Janmabhoomi premises and encouraged them and also got photographs clicked with

them. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stayed at the Janmabhoomi premises for

about 30 minutes.
