New Delhi, 04 September (H.S.): On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin visited the ISKCON Temple in East of Kailash and offered prayers to Lord Krishna. During his visit, he prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the country.

Speaking to the media after offering prayers at the temple, Nitin Nabin said that Lord Krishna is revered by everyone and has always been a flag-bearer of the nation’s Sanatan traditions and culture. He said Lord Krishna dedicated his entire life to the destruction of unrighteousness and the establishment of righteousness.

He said everyone should draw inspiration from Lord Krishna’s life and strive to incorporate his ideals into their own lives. He prayed that the blessings of Lord Krishna continue to remain upon all Indians, the entire Hindu community and followers of the Sanatan tradition, and that an atmosphere of happiness, peace and prosperity always prevail across the country.

The BJP president said that with the blessings of Lord Krishna, India should continue to progress on the path of development and prosperity and attain the same glory in the world that it enjoyed during its golden past.
