Gorakhpur, 30 Sept (HS): Discussing

the contribution of Gorakshapeeth in the construction of the temple at Shri Ram

Janmabhoomi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Mahant Digvijaynath was

present at the time of the appearance of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, while Mahant

Avedyanath led the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagna Samiti to remove the

structure of slavery. Both the revered saints of Gorakshapeeth not only united

the saint community but also dedicated their lives for the Shri Ram Temple,

society and the nation. The quality of great men is to move in accordance with

the times, society and the nation.

In Gorakhpur, Chief Minister

Yogi was addressing the condolence meeting on the death anniversary of his

revered Gurudev Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj on Wednesday (Ashwin Krishna

Chaturthi), the last day of the weekly tribute ceremony organized to

commemorate the 57th death anniversary of Yugpurusha Brahmalin Mahant

Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and the 12th death anniversary of Rashtrasant Brahmalin

Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj. Paying homage to the sacred memories of both the

departed Mahants, the Chief Minister said that stability is the biggest mantra

for success in life. The feeling of stability is the medium to take us forward.

When we read the life stories of both the revered saints, Brahmalin Mahant

Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj, we all get

similar inspiration.

If you are a devotee of Shiva,

remain the same in good and bad circumstances: Explaining the significance of

Lord Shiva and his devotion to Shiva, the Chief Minister said that we must

strive to emulate the one we praise. If we are Shiva devotees, we must remain

equanimous and selfless in both favorable and unfavorable circumstances, like

Lord Shiva. We must pave the way for public welfare amidst these

contradictions. Lord Shiva swallowed poison in difficult circumstances, and

that is why he is known as Neelkanth. Embracing the contradictions of society

within oneself and establishing an ideal for social and public welfare is

Shivatva.

Mahant Avedyanath's life

commitments are an extension of Mahant Digvijaynath's ideals: The Chief

Minister said that the life resolutions of late Mahant Avedyanath ji are an

extension of the ideals and values of Mahant Digvijaynath ji in the Guru

tradition. When discrepancies arise in the society, the Hindu society has the

capability to rectify them. We can see this sentiment in the lives of the

departed Mahants as well. Mahant Digvijaynath ji was in favour of increasing

the strength of the Hindu society at a rapid pace, while Mahant Avedyanath ji

worked day and night to unite the Hindu society for this. The community meal

campaign started by him was to unite the scattered strength of the Hindu society.

Mahant ji expanded quality

education: CM Yogi said that Mahant Digvijaynath ji believed that education in

independent India should be of high quality. Mahant Avedyanath ji also worked

to expand quality education and, through this expansion, to link it with

self-reliance. He also worked to link education with skill development. He

established numerous institutions for education and skill development. He also

arranged scholarships to encourage sports along with education. Mahant ji

established Pratap Ashram and other hostels to provide better accommodation for

students.

Gorakshapeeth instills a sense

of duty towards the nation: Balaknath - At the tribute ceremony, Mahant

Balaknath, Mahant of Mastnath Peeth Asthal Bohar (Rohtak) and MLA of the

Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, paid tribute to the two Mahants, saying that

while leading the Gorakshapeeth, both revered saints strengthened the identity

of Sanatan culture.

Gorakshapeeth instills in all people a sense of duty to the

nation. Under the leadership of Mahant Yogi Adityanath, the head of this Peeth,

Uttar Pradesh's fame is spreading across the country and the world. Yogiji

works day and night for public welfare and development without discrimination.

Mahant Avedyanath was a

visionary and far-sighted saint: Dr. Ram Kamalacharya - On this occasion,

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Dr. Ram Kamalacharya Ji Maharaj, who arrived from the

Shri Ram Janaki Temple, Varanasi, said that the late Mahant Avedyanath Ji

Maharaj was a visionary and far-sighted saint. His role in the construction of

the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be remembered for ages. He praised Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying that he will continue his victorious journey

on the strength of his work and will become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh

for a third time.

Gorakshapeeth plays a leading

role in cow protection and preservation of national culture: Vidya Chaitanya - Swami

Vidya Chaitanya Ji Maharaj, who came from Naimisharanya, said that the

Gorakshapeeth has always played a leading role in the protection of cows,

Sanatan Dharma, and national culture. The current Gorakshapeeth head, Yogi

Adityanath, is carrying forward the resolutions of his predecessors, the late

Mahant Avedyanath Ji and the late Mahant Digvijaynath Ji. Mahant Yogi Lalnath

Ji Maharaj, who came from Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, paid homage to the memories

of the departed Mahants, saying that National Saint Avedyanath Ji took charge

of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya at a time when no one else was ready. Mahant

Rajudas, who came from Hanumangarhi, Ayodhya, said that the construction of the

Ram Temple was the life mission of the late Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj.

Today, not only has the temple been built in Ayodhya, but under the leadership

of Yogi Adityanath, the glory of Ayodhya is resonating throughout the world. In

the condolence meeting, former minister of the state government, Dr. Mahendra

Singh said that the contribution of the great man, late Mahant Digvijaynath ji

and the national saint, late Mahant Avedyanath ji, in the preservation and

promotion of nationalism and culture is indescribable.

The lives of the late Mahants

were dedicated to public welfare: Mayor - At the event, Mayor Dr. Manglesh

Shrivastava paid tribute to the departed Mahant Digvijaynath and the departed

Mahant Avedyanath, saying that the departed Mahants' entire lives were

dedicated to nationalism, educational awakening, and public welfare. The

current Gorakhpeethadhiswar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is carrying

forward the tradition of the departed Mahants and setting a continuous example

of public welfare.

CM Yogi released the book of

Ramjanm Singh: On this occasion, the book 'Jatayu, the first martyr of

Ramkatha' by Ramjanm Singh, former Principal of Maharana Pratap Inter College

and Joint Secretary of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, was released by Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath and the guests present on the stage. Saraswati Vandana

and tribute song were presented by the girl students of Maharana Pratap Girls

Inter College, Ramdattpur, Vedic Mangalacharan was presented by Dr. Rangnath

Tripathi, Gorakshashtak Path was presented by Mrityunjay Upadhyay and Gaurav
