Guwahati, 30 September (HS): The Dog Squad of the 1st Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur, conducted anti-sabotage checking at the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Barsapara Cricket Stadium ahead of the India-West Indies One-Day International cricket match scheduled in Guwahati.

The checking was carried out under the guidance of Second-in-Command and Officiating Commandant H. Ibouchouba Singh as part of the security arrangements for the match.

The SSB Dog Squad systematically inspected the stadium premises and designated security areas to strengthen security measures and facilitate early detection and prevention of potential threats.

During the duty, HC/GD Mahendra Kumar, Dog Rusty (ED), and D/HC CT/GD Sagar Ravindra Kattimani actively carried out their assigned responsibilities.

The 1st Battalion SSB continues to remain prepared to assist in security arrangements during important public events and undertakes anti-sabotage checks to help ensure a safe and secure environment.-----------
