Karimnagar, 30 September (H.S.): Elaborate security and traffic arrangements have been made in Karimnagar for Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's visit to the district on Wednesday, with around 550 police officers and personnel deployed across the Commissionerate.

According to Police Commissioner Gaush Alam, the Chief Minister will participate in the inauguration of the newly constructed Integrated District Collectorate (IDOC) building and several development programmes during his visit.

The Karimnagar Commissionerate Police have completed security arrangements in coordination with the District Collector and the district administration to ensure the Chief Minister's programme is conducted smoothly.

As Revanth Reddy is scheduled to arrive by helicopter, special security measures have been put in place at the helipad, along the convoy routes, at the old Collectorate and around the new IDOC building.

Access control will be enforced at the programme venues, with entry restricted to authorised persons. A separate media gallery has been arranged for journalists, and only those carrying official passes will be permitted entry.

Traffic restrictions and diversions will also be implemented during the Chief Minister's visit. Vehicular movement between Prathima Theatre and Mamatha Theatre will be regulated, with traffic diverted through alternative routes wherever required. The police said traffic advisories would be issued to the public in advance.

Reserve forces and special teams have been kept ready to respond to any emergency situation.

The Police Commissioner appealed to the public and motorists to take note of the proposed traffic diversions and cooperate with police personnel deployed for security and traffic management during the Chief Minister's visit.
