Solapur, 30 Sept (HS): Chief Engineer of Maharashtra

State Water Resources Department, Pune, Sanjiv Chopde, has been appointed the

Executive Director of Krishna Valley Development Corporation, Pune. He will

replace Hanumant Dhumal, who is retiring on September 30, 2026.

The order of Chopde’s appointment was issued on

Tuesday. Chopde was honoured with the Best Engineer Award at the hands of Water

Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and was promoted as Director

General, equivalent to the Secretary of the State Government.
