Ayodhya, 30 Sept (HS): After the

Ram Temple, the security arrangements at other major religious sites in Ayodhya

are now also on the NSG's radar. The National Security Guard team has begun a

security audit of major religious sites, including the Siddhpeeth Hanumangarhi

and Kanak Bhawan. On Tuesday, NSG commandos inspected the Hanumangarhi complex

and examined the security arrangements in detail.

The team assessed the entry

and exit routes for devotees, crowd movement, sensitive areas, and security

arrangements. Information was also gathered on how quickly security forces can

reach the scene in an emergency, which routes would be useful for controlling

the crowd, and how coordination between various security agencies can be

improved.

Special emphasis on crowd

management: Given the ever-increasing number of devotees in Ayodhya, crowd

management is being made an important part of the new plan, along with

security. The NSG team is studying the geographical location of major religious

sites, entry-exit arrangements, and potential sensitive points. Based on the

information gathered, measures will be decided to make the security system more

effective.

Security assessment moves beyond

Ram Mandir: After reviewing the security arrangements of Ram Mandir complex,

NSG's activity has now reached other important religious places of the city.

Apart from Hanumangarhi and Kanak Bhawan, other major places are also being

included in the overall security plan. The aim is to prepare a system for quick

and coordinated action in case of any emergency along with the security of

religious places.

NSG's role may expand further:

In the new security plan being prepared for Ayodhya, the role of NSG is likely

to increase in the coming times. Based on the team's inspection and security

assessment, changes related to additional security arrangements, better crowd

management and quick response mechanism can be made at sensitive places.
