New Delhi, 30 September (H.S.): Gold prices continued their downward trend in the domestic bullion market on Wednesday, the final day of September, with the precious metal witnessing a sharp decline in early trading.

Following the latest price movement, gold became cheaper by Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,370 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Silver prices, however, remained unchanged.

After the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,48,790 and Rs 1,48,940 per 10 grams across most major bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being quoted between Rs 1,36,390 and Rs 1,36,540 per 10 grams.

With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,39,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,48,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,36,540 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,48,790 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,36,390 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,48,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,440 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,48,790 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,36,390 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was also quoted at Rs 1,48,790 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 1,36,390 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,48,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,36,440 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,48,940 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,36,540 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,48,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,36,440 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow’s bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,48,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,36,540 per 10 grams.

Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also recorded a significant decline in gold prices. In the state capitals Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,48,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,36,390 per 10 grams.
