Shoes were distributed to 172 little children

Prayagraj, 30 Sept (HS): BJP MLA Guru Prasad Maurya inaugurated a 225-foot-long

boundary wall constructed with Rs 5 lakh from the MLA fund at R.P. Rastogi

Intermediate College, Malakharhar, Prayagraj, on Wednesday. On this occasion,

he said that the real responsibility of public representatives is to understand

the needs of the people and work towards their solution. It is the

responsibility of public representatives to carry out development work wherever

facilities are needed in the area. The grant for the boundary wall is a small

effort by me in this direction, which is in accordance with the needs of this

school.

At the event, Area Councilor Aarti Maurya praised the development work being

done at the school. Praising the school's efforts for the benefit of its

students, she said that the development of educational institutions is the

foundation for the overall development of the area.

The Principal welcomed all the guests and highlighted the school's development

journey. He said that with the inspiration and guidance of the school's

dedicated manager, Sarvesh Kumar Rastogi, continuous development work is being

carried out at the school. He expressed his gratitude to the MLA for providing

a grant for the construction of the boundary wall.

On this occasion, MLA Guru Prasad Maurya also inaugurated a vocational

laboratory funded under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. The Principal explained

that, in accordance with the new education policy, this laboratory will play a

vital role in providing students with practical knowledge of vocational courses

and will help connect them with skill-based education.

At the event, the MLA distributed shoes to 172 girl students under the

Nanhi Kali Project, a project run in collaboration with the

Mahindra Foundation. This initiative was described as an important step toward

encouraging girl students' education and regular school participation.

At the event, the school's Scout and Guide students welcomed the guests with

various applause. The ceremony was attended by teachers, staff, students, and

prominent citizens from the area.
