
Farrukhabad, 03 Sept (HS): In the district of Farrukhabad, during
a program for distributing relief materials to flood-affected families and land
allotment certificates for housing to families rendered homeless by the floods,
UP CM stated,. “Health camps are being organized to assist flood victims, relief
materials are being provided. The government wants to find a permanent solution
to the floods. We need the support of our annadata farmers. We will take
effective steps to free Farrukhabad from natural disasters like floods. The NDA
government with a double engine is with the farmers.”
He further mentioned, “For the first time, youth are getting
government jobs without discrimination. When a daughter studies, she not only
uplifts her family but propels society forward towards self-reliance. We stand
with every poor person.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an
aerial survey on Thursday to inquire about the flood-ravaged communities in
three tehsils of Farrukhabad district. The Chief Minister handed over leased
land to flood victims and distributed relief supplies to 995 victims, assuring
them that he was with them and would be there for them in every situation.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today conducted an aerial
survey of approximately 150 villages in Amritpur, Sadar, and Kaimganj tehsils
affected by the flooding of the Ganga River in Farrukhabad district. He then
addressed thousands of people gathered at the flood relief center set up in the
police lines. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath began his speech by paying
obeisance to Baba Neem Karoli. He stated that he stands with the people in this
hour of crisis.
He stated that the double-engine government is supporting
the public in every situation. He said that the Ganga River floods every year
in Farrukhabad district, submerging people's standing crops and forcing them to
live on the roads. In this situation, public representatives have offered to
build embankments, which will be fully implemented. The embankment will prevent
flooding. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that he stands with the public
in every difficulty. In view of the flood situation, adequate medicines have
been made available in hospitals. Due to the floods, poisonous creatures bite
people, and medicines have also been arranged for them. The Chief Minister
stated that all roads have been cut off due to the floods. He directed the
District Magistrate to have all roads repaired as soon as the floodwaters
recede, ensuring that the public does not face any difficulties in commuting.
The Chief Minister distributed house and land lease
documents to the people present at the flood relief center and instructed
officials to prevent flooding in the Ganga River. Member of Parliament Mukesh
Rajput, Amritpur MLA Sushil Shakya, Sadar MLA Major Sunil Dutt Dwivedi,
Kaimganj MLA Surabhi, District Magistrate Ankur Lathar, SP Aarti Singh, and DIG
Kanpur Zone, along with other district officials, were present on the occasion.
A large police force was deployed for the Chief Minister's security. He
interacted directly with the public and then left for Lucknow.
Meanwhile, UP CM mentioned in a post on X, “In
Farrukhabad district today, relief materials were distributed to 1,000
flood-affected families, land allotment certificates for housing were provided
to families rendered homeless, and relief amounts from the Disaster Relief Fund
were disbursed. In this difficult time of disaster, the double-engine
government stands with you with complete sensitivity and is committed to
reaching every possible assistance to you.”
