
Special Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted for
Special Teachers (CWSN): Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar
Prayagraj/Lucknow, 03 Sept (HS): The Uttar Pradesh Education
Service Selection Commission has issued an advertisement for the Special
Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) for special educators (CWSN) working at
the primary and upper primary levels.
Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the
process for conducting the Special Teacher Eligibility Test has been initiated
in accordance with government instructions.
Commission Chairman Dr Prashant Kumar informed that in view
of the large number of teachers being affected by the order dated 29 May 2026
passed by the Government in Civil Appeal No. 1385/2025 and Revision Petition
Diary No. 53434/2025 in the Supreme Court, instructions have been issued on 02
September 2026 regarding conducting Special Teacher Eligibility Test for teachers
working at primary and upper primary level and for Special Teachers (CWSN). In
this sequence, the process of Special Teacher Eligibility Test is being started
by the Commission through Advertisement No. 03/2026.
He informed that a one-time registration (OTR) system has
been implemented for the convenience of candidates wishing to participate in
the examination. Candidates must first complete the OTR. Only after this, will
they be able to apply online for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test. Detailed
advertisements and instructions are available on the Commission's website, https://upessc.up.gov.in/
The Commission Chairman appealed to the candidates to
carefully study the detailed advertisement and all the guidelines given in it
before applying and only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed
qualifications should submit their applications within the stipulated period.
According to the advertisement/notification issued by the
Commission on September 3, 2026, the opening date for online registration (OTR)
and application is September 5, 2026. The last date for submission of online
application fees is October 4, 2026, while the last date for amendments to the
online application is October 8, 2026. The Special Teacher Eligibility Test
will be conducted on November 3, 2026.
Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the Commission is committed
to conducting the examination process according to the scheduled timetable,
keeping the interests of the candidates in mind. Candidates should consult the
advertisement and guidelines posted on the Commission's official website for
any information related to the examination.
