
Lucknow, 03 Sept (HS): On Thursday, Sadhguru Jagadish
Vasudev, the spiritual leader and founder of the Isha Foundation, got birthday
greetings from numerous Indian political luminaries. Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath and other officials usually thank spiritual leader and
Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on his birthday, September 3.
Yogi Adityanath, along with other notable people such as Mohan Yadav and
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, routinely posts messages commemorating Sadhguru's
efforts in yoga, spirituality, and environmental initiatives such as Save Soil.
Sadhguru was born in Mysuru, Karnataka, on September 3, 1957. In 1992, he
formed the Isha Foundation, which is dedicated to educational, spiritual, and
environmental projects. He has also spearheaded initiatives to safeguard the
environment and save soil.
Sadhguru was awarded India's second-highest civilian honor,
the Padma Vibhushan, in 2017 for his contributions to spirituality and
humanitarian activities. In a recent public visit in Kathmandu, Sadhguru gave
Rs 1 crore to Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund in response to flash
floods in the Himalayas. He advocated for more collaboration among Himalayan
nations in responding to calamities damaging the delicate alpine ecology.

a long and illustrious life, so that you continue to illuminate humanity with
your spiritual practice, service, and wisdom.”
