Solapur, 03 Sept (HS): Maratha community members

staged sit-in agitation at Damaji Chowk in Mangalvedha in Solapur district on

Thursday. The two hour agitation disturbed traffic in the city. The agitation

was staged in support of hunger strike by Manoj Jarange in Antarwali Sarati in

Jalna district.

The Maratha community has given a call for

Mangalvada band on September 4.

Jarange launched indefinite hunger strike demanding

reservation to Maratha community, on August 29.
