Mathura, 03 Sept (HS): In the program organized for the

inauguration and foundation stone laying of various development projects,

including the Swami Shri Haridas Auditorium, at Mathura, the sacred birthplace

of Lord Shri Krishna, UP CM remarked, “In the year 1528, Babur demolished the

grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Shri Ayodhya Dham and constructed a structure

of slavery there. Today, the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been constructed

in Shri Ayodhya Dham. Shri Ayodhya Dham is once again evoking the memory of the

Treta Yuga.”

“In the year 2025, 156 crore tourists came to the state. This

is proof of a changing Uttar Pradesh. This is proof of better connectivity. This

is proof of strong law and order. This is also proof of world-class infrastructure.

I take the report of Mathura-Vrindavan every day. In fact, this is the change. Over the past 8 years, the

Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has completed numerous projects

costing Rs. 1,000 crore,” he added while addressing the gathering.

“Swami Haridas Ji Maharaj, the founder of the Nimbarka Sakhi

sect, a tradition of Vaishnav devotion and music, gave devotion a musical form,

transformed music into a spiritual practice, and accomplished the great work of

connecting that spiritual practice with social consciousness. Today, in

Mathura, the sacred birthplace of Lord Krishna, in the presence of revered

saints and religious leaders, 229 development projects worth Rs. 1,051 crore,

including the Swami Shri Haridas Auditorium, were inaugurated and the

foundation stone laid. On this occasion, assistance funds were distributed to

7,240 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 and the

Chief Minister's Housing Scheme (Rural), along with certificates, tractor keys,

and cheques under various schemes. The book ECHOES OF DIVINITY,

based on the sacred Braj Bhoomi and Lord Krishna, was also released. Hearty

on Shri Krishna Janmashtami,” mentioned UP CM in a post on X.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Mathura’s itinerary for two

days beginning Thursday started with participation in Sri Krishna Janmashtami

festivities and launch development projects worth Rs 1,051 crore.

The Chief Minister arrived in Mathura to commemorate Janmashtami and evaluate

development projects in the Braj area. Prior to the event, he launched Rs. 1,051

crore worth of construction projects, including the Swami Haridas Auditorium.

The visit demonstrates the state government's attention on the cultural

revitalization of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, which follows similar developments

in Ayodhya and Kashi.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath opened the

newly built Swami Haridas Auditorium (Shri Haridas Prekshagrih) at Geeta Shodh

Sansthan in Vrindavan, Mathura, as part of a two-day tour to celebrate Krishna

Janmashtami.

Swami Haridas Auditorium: Built at Geeta Shodh Sansthan for

around Rs 42 crore, the new facility has a seating capacity of over 1,000

people and can accommodate cultural and religious performances.

Development Projects: CM Yogi inaugurated and set the

groundwork for several development projects costing around Rs 1,051 crore for

the Braj area.

He presided over a review meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Brij

Teerth Vikas Parishad to assess current and planned regional cultural and

infrastructure projects.

Janmashtami Schedule: The Chief Minister plans to conduct

customary prayers and perform Gau Pujan at the Shri Krishna Janmasthan and Shri

Krishna Janmabhoomi temples.
