Guwahati, 03 September (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday that 22 alleged infiltrators were prevented from entering India from Bangladesh and sent back across the border during the night in Sribhumi and Cachar districts.
In a social media post, Sarma said the individuals were stopped while attempting to enter India and were sent back to their homes across the border.
“The message is clear — there is no place for unwanted guests in the new Assam,” the Chief Minister said.------------
