Mumbai, 29 September (H.S.): Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forest’ lost momentum at the box office on Monday after putting up a strong performance over its opening weekend.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 5.25 crore on its fourth day of release. It had collected Rs 8 crore on the opening day, followed by Rs 11.25 crore on the second day and Rs 14.35 crore on the third day. With this, the film’s total net collection in India has reached Rs 38.85 crore, while its worldwide gross has stood at Rs 50.35 crore in four days. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film is a mythological horror story inspired by Indian folklore.

Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ also witnessed a decline in collections on Monday. The film earned Rs 5 crore on its fifth day, compared with Rs 15.70 crore on its fourth day. Its total net collection in India has reached Rs 97.10 crore, while its worldwide gross stands at Rs 144.85 crore. After recording strong collections in its opening days, the film’s momentum now appears to be slowing during the weekdays.

Meanwhile, Vishal Chaturvedi’s ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has continued to maintain a steady hold at the box office. The film earned Rs 2.35 crore on its 53rd day of release, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 309.38 crore. Its worldwide gross has reached Rs 404.25 crore so far, taking the film past the Rs 400-crore mark globally.
