Aichi-Nagoya, September 29 (HS): India won the bronze medal in the mixed 4x100-metre relay at the 2026 Asian Games, setting a new national record in the process. The Indian quartet of Gurindervir Singh, Sneha S.S., Animesh Kujur and Harita Bhadra clocked 41.06 seconds in the final to finish third.

The performance improved India’s previous national record of 41.35 seconds, set earlier in 2026 at the World Relays Championships by Ragul Kumar, Nithya Gandhe, Animesh Kujur and Sneha S.S.

China won the gold medal with a time of 40.78 seconds, while Thailand claimed silver in 40.87 seconds.

The Athletics Federation of India’s official squad list confirms Gurindervir Singh, Animesh Kujur, Harita Bhadra and Sneha S.S. as members of India’s mixed 4x100m relay contingent for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
