New Delhi, 29 September (H.S.): To enhance passenger convenience, the Indian Railways has decided to increase the frequency of the Ambikapur–Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ambikapur Express. Train Nos. 22407/22408 will now operate twice a week instead of once a week. There will be no change in the train’s route, timings or scheduled halts.

Train No. 22408 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ambikapur Express will now operate on Sundays and Tuesdays, with the revised schedule coming into effect from October 4, 2026. In the reverse direction, Train No. 22407 Ambikapur–Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the new schedule taking effect from October 6, 2026.

In another passenger-friendly measure, the Railways has decided to introduce an experimental halt at Adarsh Nagar Delhi station for the Delhi Junction–Kalka Express and the Delhi Junction–Katrauli Punjab Himalaya Express. The new halts for both trains will come into effect from September 30.

Train No. 14331 Delhi Junction–Kalka Express will arrive at Adarsh Nagar Delhi at 4:35 pm and depart at 4:37 pm.

Similarly, Train No. 14053 Delhi Junction–Katrauli Punjab Himalaya Express will arrive at Adarsh Nagar at 11:12 pm and depart at 11:14 pm.

The Railways has advised passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for the latest information regarding train operations or contact the railway enquiry helpline at 139.
