Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline in early trade in the domestic bullion market on Tuesday. Following the latest price movement, gold became cheaper by Rs 2,300 to Rs 2,510 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets across the country, except Chennai. In Chennai, gold prices declined by Rs 2,350 to Rs 2,560 per 10 grams. Silver prices also weakened during early trade, falling by up to Rs 5,000 per kilogram.

Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,50,160 to Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,37,640 to Rs 1,37,790 per 10 grams. Silver also remained under pressure and was trading at Rs 2,39,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,37,790 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,160 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,37,640 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad stood at Rs 1,50,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,690 per 10 grams.

In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,37,690 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,790 per 10 grams.

Like other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a sharp decline in gold prices. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,50,160 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,37,640 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
