Thane, 28 Sept (HS): Three people, including a father-son,

died in a head on collision of two pick-up vans in Tokawade-Malshej Highway near

Karchonde junction in Thane district. The accident occurred on Monday morning.

According to Tokawade police, the deceased Maruti

Tokaram Khapre, his son Ajit Khapre and Ram Malu Sapate from Khedle village were

travelling in a pick-up van and were going to Alephata, when a chicken carrying

pick-up van collided with their vehicle. Both the vehicles were badly damaged

and the three died on the accident spot.

Tokawade police took out the bodies of the deceased

and PI Sheetalkumar Naik initiated an investigation..
