Lucknow, 28 Sept (HS): When they received a government job

appointment letter, some found hope for improved financial well-being, while

others found relief from worries about their children's future. Sharing their

joy at securing a job after years of hard work, some candidates became

emotional, even choking on the words.

The occasion was the appointment letter distribution program

for Gram Panchayat officers held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Monday. Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 1,375 Gram Panchayat

officers selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection

Commission. Chief Minister Yogi symbolically handed over appointment letters to

11 newly selected candidates on the stage. After receiving the appointment

letters, the candidates shared their struggle journey and family circumstances.

Describing the selection process as fair and transparent, they expressed their

gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi.

The first woman in her in-laws' family to get a government

job: Shruti Srivastava of Lucknow said she is the first woman in her in-laws family

to join government service. During her pregnancy, she worried about her future.

The appointment has given her new hope and confidence. She thanked the Chief

Minister for the fair recruitment process.

Aditya Singh, from Kushinagar, comes from a farmer's family.

He said that his selection into government service has given him the

opportunity to serve the state. The recruitment process was completely

transparent and fair.

Beauty Shahi of Gorakhpur said that her family's financial

situation is not very strong. A government job will allow her to serve the

public and improve her family's well-being. She expressed her gratitude to the

Chief Minister.

These 11 candidates received their appointment letters on

the stage. Those who received appointment letters from the Chief Minister

included Ashutosh Tripathi from Prayagraj, Om Baghel from Agra, Praveen Kumar

from Ghazipur, Sudha from Pratapgarh, Aditya Singh from Kushinagar, Neha Devi

from Hamirpur, Rupali Gupta from Fatehpur, Shruti Srivastava from Lucknow,

Beauty Shahi from Gorakhpur, Shubham Kumar from Ghazipur and Amit Kumar Singh

from Pratapgarh.

Appointment letters to 6,672 youth in 10 days: This is the

fourth major appointment letter distribution event in the last 10 days under

Mission Employment. On September 19, appointment letters were given to 818

candidates selected by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and the

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at Lok Bhavan. These

included candidates from the departments of Medical and Health Services, AYUSH,

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Vocational Education and Skill

Development.

On September 20, 912 candidates selected by the Uttar

Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board were given appointment letters.

These included candidates selected for the positions of Police Sub-Inspector

(Confidential), Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Police Assistant

Sub-Inspector (Accounting).

3,567 got appointment in the education department: 3,567

teachers and principals selected by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service

Selection Commission were handed appointment letters on September 22. These

included 1090 women and 2477 men. They were selected for the positions of

principal, headmaster, lecturer, and assistant teacher. With 1,375 Gram

Panchayat officials receiving appointment letters on Monday, a total of 6,672

youth have been given appointment letters for government jobs in four major

programmes held between September 19 and 28.
