Nagpur, 28 Sept (HS): Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon, has contributed Rs 1.11 crore to support the farmers affected by severe drought condition across Maharashtra. The fund was was donated to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Severe rainfall deficit has resulted in serious drought-like situiation in many parts of the state.

The amount was handed over to Maharashtra Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis through a cheque on September 27, 2026.The Sansthan said the

contribution is intended to support immediate financial assistance, drinking

water arrangements, cattle fodder and other essential requirements of

drought-affected farmers.

Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan

has consistently remained committed to social welfare and humanitarian service

and said it would continue extending support to people in need during difficult

times.
