New Delhi, 28 September (H.S.): The University of Delhi (DU) has taken action against three LLB students in connection with an alleged incident of molestation and stalking reported in Mukherjee Nagar on September 23. Following the registration of an FIR by the Delhi Police, Delhi University has suspended the students of Law Centre-II with immediate effect.

According to a notice issued by the university on Monday, all three students have been suspended from their respective courses under Clause 3(e) of Ordinance XV-B of the University of Delhi Act, 1922. They have also been barred from entering the Delhi University campus with immediate effect.

The university stated that the action was taken after approval from the competent authority. The document has been marked as “Confidential and Most Urgent”. Its reference number is PCTO/2026/1065.

It may be recalled that at around 9:30 p.m. on September 23, two female students were allegedly subjected to molestation and stalking in the Mukherjee Nagar area. Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.

A video purportedly linked to the incident has also surfaced. In the video, an SUV is allegedly seen stopping near the female students. It has been alleged that the occupants of the vehicle subsequently made inappropriate and objectionable remarks towards them.
