Mumbai, 28 September (H.S.): Actor Akshaye Khanna is once again in the spotlight, this time over his latest real estate acquisition. According to property registration documents, Khanna has purchased a luxury apartment in the prestigious Malabar Hill area of South Mumbai.

The transaction was registered in September 2026. According to reports, the actor purchased the residential property in the ‘30 Little Gibbs’ project on Malabar Hill Road for a reported Rs 33.26 crore.

According to the documents, the apartment has a carpet area of 2,341.39 square feet, along with a balcony area of 175.45 square feet, taking the total area to 2,516.84 square feet. The luxury apartment also comes with three parking units. Malabar Hill is regarded as one of Mumbai’s most prestigious and expensive residential neighbourhoods and is home to several industrialists, businesspeople and film personalities.

According to the property documents, stamp duty of Rs 1.99 crore and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 were paid for the transaction. However, the actor has not issued any official statement regarding the purchase.

On the work front, Akshaye Khanna was recently seen in Sunny Deol’s film ‘Ikka’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’. In 2027, he is set to appear in filmmaker Prasanth Varma’s film ‘Mahakali’.
