Lucknow, 28 Sept (HS): On Monday, in the capital Lucknow,

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to village

panchayat officials. 1,375 young people were selected in the examination

conducted by the UPSSSC. Everyone's faces lit up upon receiving their appointment

letters.

The event took place at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in

Gomti Nagar. Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, MLA

Neeraj Bora, MLC Ramchandra Pradhan, MLA Amresh, MLA Jaidevi, Mahendra Singh,

and Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal were among those present.

Have an idea to improve the Gram Panchayat: On this

occasion, CM Yogi said that the tap water scheme is reaching every household.

This can prevent diseases. Another advantage is that a young man from the

village can become a plumber and work in the village. You should have an idea

to improve your village panchayat. Ten years ago, it was impossible to get a

job without any transaction. If you have got a job without paying any money,

then you should also fulfill your responsibilities properly.

Gram Sachivalayas being actively operated in villages: On

this occasion, Panchayati Raj Minister OP Rajbhar said that the village

secretariats established in every gram panchayat in the state are being

actively operated. Electricity, internet, computers, and related equipment are

being provided to the village secretariats so that the panchayats can adapt to

the changing times and become part of the Panchayat Vision 2047.

He said that significant action is currently underway to

transfer the Panchayat's share of the revenue earned from pond leases to the

respective Gram Panchayats. This is providing significant funds to the Gram

Panchayats.

The Minister stated that the online delivery of various

services through Common Service Centers has generated approximately Rs. 4.27

crore in revenue for panchayats. The department still needs to work toward

developing panchayats in accordance with the recommendations of the 16th

Finance Commission, implementing an Operation and Maintenance Policy under the

Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), and promoting welfare schemes at the grassroots

level.

Claims youths are getting jobs without money: OP Rajbhar

compared the previous and current governments regarding government recruitment

in the state. He said that during the Samajwadi Party government, Shivpal

Yadav's henchmen allegedly went out to extort money whenever a government job

became available.

In a program organized in Lucknow for the distribution of

appointment letters to 1,375 Gram Panchayat Officers selected through a fair

and transparent process by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection

Commission, Rajbhar said that at that time, jobs were often offered for Rs. 10

lakh, 15 lakh, and even 20 lakh. Referring to the government led by Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that under the current administration, young

people are being given jobs without any money. The government is conducting a

transparent recruitment process and providing employment opportunities to young

people.

Taking aim at the opposition, Rajbhar said that in the

upcoming elections, the Samajwadi Party must be wiped out and the Congress

halved. He urged the youth to ensure Yogi Adityanath's third term as Chief

Minister.

Meanwhile, UP CM mentiomed in a post on X, “Honoring the

hard work of the youth, providing opportunities to talent, and equipping

villages with new workforce is the top priority of the double-engine

government. Today, appointment letters will be handed over to 1,375 Gram

Panchayat officers selected through a fair and transparent process by the Uttar

Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. This appointment will not

only fulfill the dreams of the youth but also infuse new momentum into good

governance and development in Gram Panchayats. Heartiest congratulations to all

newly selected candidates and their families.”
