Mumbai, 27 September (H.S.): Anticipation surrounding Namit Malhotra’s upcoming production ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, continues to build among audiences. Amid the growing excitement, the makers have unveiled the first official poster of Rocking Star Yash as Ravana.

In the poster, Yash appears in a grand and commanding avatar. A regal crown adorned with precious gemstones, multiple layers of pearl necklaces and elaborate gold jewellery accentuate his royal persona. His piercing gaze and powerful presence offer a glimpse of Ravana’s imposing character.

Ever since the trailer was released, Yash’s portrayal of Ravana has remained one of the most talked-about aspects of the film. The new poster not only reveals the actor’s look but also offers a glimpse of the film’s enormous scale. ‘Ramayana’ features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The film is being mounted on an expansive cinematic scale, with the epic’s principal characters and their emotional journeys set to be brought to life.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the two-part film is being produced through a collaboration between Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film will be released worldwide in IMAX format and will reach audiences in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is scheduled for a theatrical release during Diwali 2026, while ‘Ramayana: Part 2’ is slated to arrive in cinemas during Diwali 2027.
