Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the national duty of the digital

census and self-enumeration initiative. Afterward, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of

Uttar Pradesh urged residents through

social media to engage actively in this extensive statistical and administrative task.

Prime Minister's Request: In Mann Ki

Baat, PM Modi mentioned that the initial phase of Census 2027 has documented

information for more than 32

crore families. He mentioned that residents can access

the digital portal in 16 languages to carry out

self-enumeration.

CM Yogi's Statement: Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath conveyed a message resonating with the Prime Minister's appeal, encouraging the people of Uttar Pradesh to consider taking part in the census as a fundamental national

responsibility crucial for future policymaking

and progress.

Digital Census Framework: The current

census initiative utilizes advanced digital resources such as mobile applications and geo-mapping to guarantee high precision, comprehensive household inclusion,

and openness.

CM Yogi mentioned in a post on X, “Honorable Prime Minister

Shri @narendramodi ji has today, in the @mannkibaat program, called upon all

citizens of the country to actively participate in the 'Census of India'. The

census is not merely a collection of data; it is a crucial foundation for the

nation's future plans and policies. I urge all of you to become participants in

this grand administrative and statistical endeavor, the largest in the world. Let

us, while fulfilling this national duty, make our invaluable contribution to

building a 'Developed, Empowered, and Prosperous India'.”
