Lucknow, 27 Sept (HS): On World Tourism Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath expressed his wishes, highlighting the state's significant

increase in tourist numbers as well as its rich spiritual and cultural history.

Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a tremendous increase in visitor arrivals,

according to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, owing to major cultural revamps,

infrastructural upgrades, and spiritual sites such as Ayodhya, Kashi

(Varanasi), Mathura, and Prayagraj.

He asked people and authorities to uphold

the traditional Indian culture of Atithi Devo Bhava (Guest is God)

and to make a communal promise to maintain cleanliness, conservation, and

marketing at all tourist attractions. The Chief Minister emphasized that the

entrance of millions of religious, heritage, and eco-tourists is critical to

creating local jobs and bolstering regional economies.

According to CM Yogi, Uttar Pradesh is rich in spiritual awareness,

historical history, and natural beauty.

Global Attraction: Iconic destinations such as Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath

Dham, as well as Ayodhya, Mathura, Vrindavan, and Gorakhpur, now attract a

large number of both international and domestic tourists.

Call for Cleanliness and Preservation: He asked people and visitors to join

forces to preserve cleanliness, safeguard, and promote tourism spots around the

state.

Strengthening Traditions: He emphasized the need of continually empowering

India's primary tradition of treating visitors with the highest respect via the

Atithi Devo Bhava concept.
