Hyderabad, 27 September (H.S.): Hyderabad and several other parts of Telangana are likely to experience hot weather with limited rainfall over the coming days, with temperatures expected to remain around 34-35 degrees Celsius in several districts.

Most parts of the state are expected to remain dry until October 2, according to the weather outlook cited in the report.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are likely over parts of south Telangana on September 29, particularly in areas close to the Karnataka border. The rest of the state is expected to remain largely dry.

A reversal in wind direction and the influence of easterly winds could bring light rainfall to Hyderabad and other parts of southeast Telangana.

The report also forecasts a cooler-than-normal winter for the 2026-27 season, with conditions potentially similar to those experienced during the 2025-26 winter.

October is expected to record a significant rainfall deficit, while unseasonal rainfall could increase in November, with temperatures likely to remain below normal.

Slightly higher unseasonal rainfall is also expected in December, along with below-normal temperatures.

For the immediate period, however, Hyderabad is likely to continue experiencing hot weather, with limited and scattered rainfall.
