Anticipation surrounding Yami Gautam Dhar-starrer fantasy family entertainer ‘Nayyi Navelli’ continues to grow. The film’s first song, ‘Bhabhi Tabaahi’, has been released. Set against the backdrop of wedding celebrations, the song offers the first glimpse of the character of the new bride through the traditional ‘muh dikhai’ ceremony. Yami is seen making her entry into the family in a completely new avatar.

‘Bhabhi Tabaahi’ has been composed and produced by G.V. Prakash Kumar, with lyrics penned by Vayu and vocals by Neeti Mohan. The song blends elements of bhangra, rap, classical music and hip-hop. While the film’s teaser had left audiences intrigued by the mystery surrounding the new bride’s alleged identity as a ‘daayan’ (witch), the song takes the narrative forward in a light-hearted and musical manner. The choreography has been done by Vijay Ganguly.

The film also features Adinath M. Kothare, Anurag Thakur, Sunita Rajwar, Meeta Vashisht, Aditya Kulshrestha, Sushmita Mukherjee, Sonal Jha and Sunil Sinha in key roles. The film is directed by Balaji Mohan, while Anand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma are its producers. The story has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma. ‘Nayyi Navelli’ is scheduled to release nationwide in cinemas on October 16, 2026, ahead of Dussehra.
