Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday launched the fourth edition of the Uttar

Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida,

with the CM emphasizing the

event as a significant opportunity

for displaying products made throughout the state. In his address to the audiences, CM Yogi greeted Amit Shah as the chief guest and offered his regards

to the ambassadors and high

commissioners from Japan, Singapore,and Belarus, who are involvedin the

event as partner nations. He

also welcomed international

buyers and exhibitors from 90 nations.

During the inauguration of the

fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, I warmly welcome and greet,on behalf

of the entire event, the esteemed Union Home and Cooperation Minister,Amit Shah ji, who is hereas the chief guest to guide us today, CM Yogi stated. I warmly welcome the esteemed ambassadors and high commissioners from

Japan, Singapore, and Belarus, who are taking

part in this event as partner nations.

He also warmly greeted all the international

buyers and exhibitors who have

arrived from 90 different countries across the globe. The Chief Minister mentioned that

the trade show has, in the last four

years, created a venue for products made in Uttar Pradesh and evolved into a significant hub for displaying the state's varied offerings. This is

a platform that has consistently offered a venue for every product produced in Uttar Pradesh over

the past four years. It has turned

into a remarkable hub for displaying

these items, he stated.

“Under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi

ji, India has signed Free Trade Agreements with many of the world's major

countries. Uttar Pradesh is providing the most accessible pathway to leverage

those agreements by inviting international companies to India and facilitating

global exports. Last year, 550 buyers from 72 countries were part of this trade

show. This year, more than 600 buyers from 90 countries are expected to

participate. This is the work culture of the double-engine government that

transforms Potential into Possibility and Possibility into Prosperity, which

Uttar Pradesh has achieved in the last nine and a half years under the

leadership of the honorable Prime Minister Shri

@narendramodi ji,” he added.

CM Yogi stated that the fourth edition was highlighting

products and businesses linked to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises

(MSMEs), the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, and One District One Cuisine. He stated

that the government had aimed to

give traditional businesses a unique identity through the ODOP initiative

and asserted that Uttar Pradesh

had become a significant

manufacturing center. A government was established in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister stated that we

providedthis

traditional enterprise with the brand One District One Product, and today Uttar Pradesh has swiftly developed not only in the Micro,

Small and Medium Enterprises sector but also as a fresh

manufacturing center. He mentioned that Uttar Pradesh was

exporting products valued at over Rs 2 lakh crore to various global

markets.

CM Yogi also addressed the difficulties encountered by artisans and

traditional sectors. He stated

that artisans previously did not have sufficient

resources, guidance, assistance, markets, and opportunities to maintain their

livelihoods. For a considerable period, our craftsmen lacked the resources, correct

guidance, assistance, markets, and platforms essential

for them. When an artisan's means of making a living deteriorates,

the younger generation does not perceive their traditional skills as a reliable future, he stated. He mentioned that this might cause individuals

to distance themselves from their cultural

origins, causing local skills and traditions to disconnect from younger generations.

“Today, the UP International Trade Show 4.0 was inaugurated

in Greater Noida by the onorable hands of the respected Union Home and

Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah

ji. Under the

guidance of the esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, Uttar Pradesh is

moving forward with the vision of Local to Global and today is

presenting its Products, Potential, and Innovations on the global stage. The

increasing Footfall at UPITS is an expression of the growing Global Trust in the

state. Here, our artisans' skills are finding markets, the youth's innovations

are gaining opportunities, the strength of MSMEs is expanding, and the farmer's

hard work is receiving a new identity. The state's products, enterprises, and

talents are directly connecting with Buyers and Businesses from around the
