Nagpur, 25 September (H.S.): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its annual Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur on October 20, 2026. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will deliver his annual address on the occasion, while Dainik Jagran Editor-in-Chief Sanjay Gupta will be the chief guest.

According to information shared on the RSS's X handle, the Vijayadashami celebrations will be held at Reshimbagh in Nagpur from 7:40 am on October 20. Gupta will attend the programme as the chief guest, while Bhagwat will address the gathering.

Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is observed as a festival symbolising the victory of good over evil. For the RSS, the occasion also has significance as the organisation traditionally conducts Shastra Puja during its Vijayadashami celebrations.

The annual Vijayadashami address by the RSS chief is a major event in the organisation's calendar. The address traditionally covers issues concerning national life and outlines the organisation's perspective and priorities for the coming year.

The celebrations at Reshimbagh are attended by RSS functionaries and volunteers from across the country, including senior office-bearers and prominent members of the organisation.
