Mumbai, 25 Sept (HS): Devendra Fadnavis and

his family marked Ganeshotsav

2026 by setting up and later immersing the Lord Ganesha idol at his

official Varsha Bungalow home in Mumbai.

Fadnavis and family, conducted the ceremonial installation (Pran Pratishtha)

and traditional puja of Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi.

Residence to pray and ask for Bappa's blessings during the celebration. At the festival, Fadnavis urged the people of Maharashtra to observe a

pollution-free and eco-friendly Ganeshotsav. On Anant

Chaturdashi, the Fadnavis family conducted the last Uttarpuja and aarti prior

to the eco-friendly immersion of the Bappa idol in a man-made tank at the

official residence.

The immersion ceremony occurred right at his official

residence, Varsha Bungalow, located in Mumbai. Demonstrating an environmentally

conscious approach, the family carried out the last customary aarti alongside

ministers and dignitaries before submerging the Ganpati Bappa idol in a

synthetic eco-friendly water tank placed on the bungalow premises. The ceremony

signified the end of the 2026 Ganesh Chaturthi festivities on the fortunate day

of Anant Chaturdashi.

“Obeisance to Vighneshvara, the boon-giver, beloved of the

gods, pot-bellied one, the all-pervading one for the welfare of the world. To the elephant-faced one, adorned with the

hymns and sacrifices of the Vedas, son of Gauri, Lord of the Ganas, salutations

again and again. Day 12th of the Anant Chaturdashi: At Varsha Niwas today, with

the entire family, we performed the aarti of Shri Ganaraya. These eleven days

spent in Bappa's presence were filled with joy, devotion, and positive energy.

They passed by so quickly, we hardly realized it. This time, at the feet of

Ganaraya, we prayed that all worries and obstacles in people's lives be

removed, that every home be filled with happiness, contentment, and joy, and we

prayed that next year Bappa arrive soon in a joyful atmosphere,” memtioned Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in a post on X.

“Hon Union Minister Piyush Goyal ji took darshan and sought

blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ganesha at our official residence 'Varsha' in Mumbai.

Offered prayers for the happiness and prosperity of our people,” he stated in

another post on X.
